Next time when you face a challenge of some kind; ex. tough call, problems at home, an injury... remember that words of the 23rd Psalm

   The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;  your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Sometimes following God is like following a hose out of a smoke filled building. You have to trust that couplings are going to point you in the right direction; to safety. You can't see the door or tell what side of the house you are on, and it seems like you have that wax paper in you mask from Firefighter Survival. The thing to remember is that will lead you, but you have activate your faith and that can only come from experience.

God is there when you are facing trouble and even when you are not. Look to him to help you through any trial and he will guide you. God will use people, situations and many other things to build your faith and cause you to turn to Him. You may be "beside still waters" or "walking through the valley of the shadow of death" either way God will be right there with you if you let Him. 

If you don't know Jesus as your Saviour or you have turned away from Him, you can know Him. Start a relationship with Him now, pray (its like talking to a friend) invite Jesus to be a part of your life; the good time and the bad.
